Amanda Livanou
Born and raised in Athens, she moved to London to study at the London School of Economics. She returned to Greece after 5 years and started working at the Filmiki Company,
one of the oldest production companies in Athens, in the production of TVCs, films and television.
From 2002 to 2004 she worked at the Greek Film Center as special advisor to the Director for international relations and special projects.
She then moved on to work as a freelance independent producer, something she has been doing for the past 12 years.
She has produced and co-produced about 15 feature films and documentaries and has also worked in numerous foreign films that were produced in Greece.
She has also produced news programmes for television and music events both for live audiences and TV broadcasting.
She is a graduate of the EAVE Producer’s Training Programme, EAVE+ and an alumni of the Sundance Producers Lab in Utah, USA (2014).
From October 2013 to December 2016 she served as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Film Academy.
She is a member of the European Film Academy .
In 2014 she created NEDA Film.
She speaks English and French.
